Dr. Mehmet C. Oz, given the moniker Dr. Oz during appearances on “The Oprah Winfrey Show,” is getting his own U.S. TV program, Sony Pictures Television says.
Oz will star in a new Harpo Productions and Sony Pictures Television production tentatively titled “DR. OZ,” Sony Pictures said in a news release Friday.
Winfrey said the series, which will debut next year, will allow Oz to continue offering professional medical advice to viewers as he has on her talk show.
