INTERVIEW: Writer-Director Quentin Tarantino
By Alan Smithee on Apr 6, 2007 in Interview
With the opening of Grindhouse this weekend, Quentin Tarantino is out of hibernation, manically promoting the movie. Staying true to his pulp roots, Tarantino and fellow director Robert Rodriguez have fashioned an old, grimy ode to the shlock horrorfests that splayed across equally dingy movie theaters in the 70s. Made up of two stories, one a slasher movie and the other a zombie movie. Grindhouse bills itself as a double feature horror movie. In this exclusive interview, Tarantino discusses the movie and its origins. One hopes Dennis Hopper makes a surprise cameo.
