Director JJ Abrams and ‘Super 8’ filmmaking team leave imprint on West Virginia town

The town of Weirton in West Virginia recently received a tremendous economic boost when the JJ Abrams and Steven Spielberg decided to shoot the movie 'Super 8' in this scrappy steel town that is struggling economically. Subbing for an Ohio small town from the movie, Weirton's residents welcomed Hollywood into their backlot and created some of the town's most memorable moments in recent decades.
