Ben Stiller makes movies for his kids

Ben Stiller is famous for his close-to-the-knuckle roles, but the star admits having two young kids does play a part in his choice of movies.
“You just become aware of movies that you can watch with your kids and if you have the option to do some, then that’s a good thing,” said Ben at the Hollywood premiere of his new animated movie, Madagascar: Escape 2 Africa, in which he again voices Alex the lion.
“I think that’s probably why I even did Night At The Museum in the first place and this one too.”
The actor has filmed a sequel to the 2006 hit comedy Night At The Museum with British stars Ricky Gervais and Steve Coogan.
“I love the Brits - the Brits are funny people,” he said. “I love British humour and Gervais is amazing, we just crack up every time we work together. Coogan’s great, I love Coogan.”
However, despite the star’s success this year with comedy movie Tropic Thunder, which he co-wrote and directed, he said there wouldn’t be a sequel.
“No I don’t think so,” he said. “I think that was just like a one time idea. You know, I just keep on moving forward and try some different things.”
Ben has two children with wife Christine - Ella, six and three-year-old Quinlan.
