Famed director James Cameron’s groundbreaking hits like “Titanic” and “Avatar” have grossed millions worldwide, but he tells Pop Tarts that the films' global appeal will not stop him from filming “Avatar” sequels here in the U.S. in a move that will create hundreds of jobs for Americans.
“We’re shooting two films back-to-back, so I’m writing two scripts, not one, which will complete a free-film story arc – not really a trilogy, but just an overall character arc so I’m pretty excited about that,” Cameron told FOX411’s Pop Tarts ahead of he and his wife Suzy Amis being honored for their philanthropic work in helping homeless youth at the recent Covenant House Gala in Los Angeles. “We’re doing a lot of preliminary work right now on new software and new animation techniques and so on. We’re creating a new facility in Manhattan Beach so everybody that’s not already dead is coming back.”

REELZCHANNEL ? TV About Movies? today announced that an optimized version of its website, reelzchannel.com, is available to iPhone users who can now watch the latest movie trailers and celebrity interviews, get up to the minute entertainment reports, check movie listings at their local theater and search TV listings for movies to watch on their cable and satellite television service.
?For iPhone users, we?ve put more than 300,000 pages of movie information, including over 70,000 movie titles, 20,000 movie-related video clips, the latest trailers and up-to- the-minute entertainment reports in the palm of their hand.? said Bob Bedford, REELZCHANNEL Sr. Vice President of Web and New Media. ?We know movie fans are busy people. Now when they have a few minutes sitting in the airport or waiting in the line at the grocery store, they can keep up to date on the latest movies and search for movies they?d like to see at the their local theater or watch on TV tonight from the comfort of their own home.?
While a number of sites and services provide theater listing search capabilities, i.reelzchannel.com takes it to a new level for those searching for their favorite movies on TV, where the sheer volume of choices - often as high as 6,000 movie titles a month on a standard digital cable or satellite service - can be daunting.
?Our research shows that the majority of people watch movies at home. Now movie fans can use their iPhone to search i.reelzchannel.com to find great movies available tonight on their cable or satellite service,? Bedford said. ?They can pull up movie information, watch clips and trailers for the movies their interested in, even find out which movies are available in High Definition. It is a much better way to find movies than a standard on-screen guide.?
REELZCHANNEL?TV About Movies? delivers daily entertainment-based content from full movie trailers and celebrity interviews to the first-ever movie soundtrack show. Warner Bros. and comic book movie fans are reeling after the poor opening weekend performance of Green Lantern, which was to serve as a cornerstone for a line of DC Comics-based films to rival those of Marvel. Lantern collected a lower-than-expected $53 million domestically, and a 22 percent drop from Friday to Saturday indicated poor word-of-mouth. Warners insiders say that the $200 million-budgeted movie needed to open at least in the $60 million range for the studio to move forward with a sequel, for which it has already committed to a script by Michael Goldenberg. Even before the greenish dust has settled, here are five things that went wrong.

Small TVs got a boost last June when the government mandate to switch to digital broadcasting took effect, but a year later, amidst a stronger economy, sales of smaller TVs have slowed as consumers are exploring bigger screens and advanced features, according to leading market research company The NPD Group.
Sales of 19? to 37? flat-panel TVs in the U.S. were down 21 percent year-over-year in June according to NPD?s Retail Tracking Service. The screen sizes that took the biggest hits were 19? and 26? showing 49 percent and 38 percent declines, respectively.
?As the analog cutoff approached, many less affluent consumers flocked to purchase inexpensive smaller digital TVs to receive digital broadcasts. This drove strong growth in the sub-32? segment that the industry has not been able to maintain,? said Ross Rubin, executive director of industry analysis NPD. ?The scales have now tipped in favor of larger screen TVs as prices continue to drop and consumer interest turns to connected televisions, LED backlighting, and 3D -- features that are more likely to be prominent in larger sets.?
Sales of flat-panel TVs 40? to 65? grew 26 percent in June compared to the prior year. Some of the strongest growth came from the larger screen sizes as consumers traded up. The 55?, 60?, 63?, and 65? flat-panels all experienced triple digit growth. But large declines in average prices also helped boost sales of 42?, 46?, 50?, and 58? flat-panel TVs.

It is easy to find a website to download movies on the internet, but it is difficult to find a safe and reliable website for movie downloads. Most customers looking to download movies online, go to one of the many search engines and type in download movies or download movies online. What customers find is a very long list of available sites that offer all kinds of downloads. First, if a site is offering a free movie download, it is usually to good to be true or not safe. Some of the movie download site that a customer will come across are sites that are illegal, which means that the movie website does not have the proper license to distribute movies online. Another snafu or danger with some of these other websites is the danger of contracting a virus or spyware directly onto the computer. Houston, TX (PRWEB) January 3, 2006
2005 will go down in history as the year of the big screen LCD TV. Large screen LCD TVs have recently come down in price to be very competitive with large (40?+) plasma TVs. People who have been searching for the perfect flat panel TV screen can finally get it at a price they want. One thing is for certain: home entertainment will never be the same again: it will be bigger and better.
?We've seen the price drop below $ 1000 for some LCD TVs,? Said Michael Crow in a recent interview. However, some of the really high end LCD TV prices still run in the thousands.
The home theater trend has swept the nation in recent years with some families even going to the extent of installing lighted aisles and popcorn machines in their homes. Home projectors, plasma TVs, and LCD TVs can make the difference between a mediocre cinema experience and an incredible one. Some technologies have fallen by the wayside, while others (like flat screens) have made substantial in roads in living rooms across the country.
While both LCD TVs and Plasma televisions can deliver large screen pictures, they use different technology to deliver a state of the art viewing experience. Shipments of both types of flat panel screens are expected to increase in years to come as they replace older CRT monitors.
With their corporate office in Houston, Texas, CEO Michael Crow and his research staff prepare detailed articles and information about LCD TVs. Lcdtvme.com provides LCD TV related content for home theater enthusiasts all over the world.
In a recent interview, Michael said he has many new site enhancements in store for people who are either considering investing in an LCD TV or are going to install a home theater.
